Quilting| Quilty 365 - February

Life is a journey, and I am ok with that.  Seasons may change, winter to spring, come what may, Life can be many things and so can this quilt.

These are my February blocks for the Quilty 365 challenge group on Blogger. The idea is to create a circle block every day for the whole year. This is me.

I am so very interested to see how it will turn out, life as a whole is dynamic and beautiful, even with the ugly bits in between.

The struggle is what makes us real, the appreciation we have when things are in harmony makes us real. I feel this is the beginning of a beautiful journey. Thank you, Quilty, 365!

Please remember that all of you are good enough! You are smart enough! And you are beautiful.

Sarah

  1. I did Quilty365 last year - it produced three quilts and was a lot of fun. I like how your circles are looking so far and hope you enjoy the journey.

    1. Thank you, Karen! it is pretty fun so far. I am worried that I will drastically deviate from the color pallet. I might need something to fill that creative urge and keep within the constraints of the 365 project. I think that helps my creativity (to have boundaries).

    1. Oh, my goodness, Thank you Leanne! they are all scraps, some from clothing, some were inherited quilting pieces, and some were from #weaveandwoven on Etsy. The scraps were super reasonably priced and very useable. It gives my stash a boost with some very pretty pieces ;)

I am just so flattered by your comments!

      Thank you

  7. I am one of those people who started early on the project, but haven't been able to keep up with it daily. So I am still working on mine. I like the creativity you have added to your circles. It is going to turn out beautifully.

    1. Hi Shasta, To be honest I make them in batches, weekly or more. I find it more rewarding to sit down and make a bunch at a time. The fabric I use for the month usually comes from a set aside color scheme of pulled fabrics. The fabrics I am using on other quilts that month get added to the 365 pull as I go as well. I can't wait to see yours!
